SAMMY & KIDS GOLF OUTING  - Sunday, October 12, 2025   
Dear Community Supporter:
In a spirit of optimism and love,  the 26th Sammy & Kids Golf Outing will be held at 10:30 am Sunday October 12th at Westview Golf Course.   For 25 years, friends and family of young Samantha Otte, who passed away too early, have turned tragedy into triumph by supporting youth opportunity in the region.  Join us in our quest to continue this noble cause.
   
Samantha Otte events have been supporting kids in our community for many years.  Last year, we raised $28, 147, donating 100% to children’s programs, schools and agencies in the community, including the Sammy Fund and the Area Community Foundation.  Chuck and June Otte fully endorse our efforts (we have been doing this fundraiser for the past 10 years), “We are so pleased that Kiwanis is continuing this effort for area children in Sammy’s memory – Thank You!”  
 
Kiwanis Mission is “To serve the children of the world”.  By playing, sponsoring a hole and/or making an outright donation, you honor Sammy’s memory and continue this honorable tradition.  To participate, send a check and appropriate form (download the form by clicking the name) by the deadline.

Sammy & Kids Donation
Each year after the Sammy & Kids Golf Tournament Bills have been paid, the Gem City Breakfast Kiwanis Club distributes 50% of the proceeds to the Community Foundation/Sammy Fund and 50% into the Gem City Kiwanis Foundation for later distribution.
